Rochester City Lines is a family owned business. Started by
George Holter in 1966, for over 35 years Rochester City Lines has been serving
Rochester and surrounding communities.
Rochester City Lines operates several
commuter bus routes Monday through Friday. This service is open to the public.
The commuter routes bring passengers into Rochester in the morning and return in
the afternoon. The commuter buses drop off passengers downtown in the area of
the Mayo Clinic and at St. May's Hospital and depart from the same areas in the afternoon. If your
destination is out of the downtown area, you can transfer free to any of
Rochester City Lines city transit routes to complete your trip. If you need to
get downtown to catch the commuter bus home, just show the city transit driver
your commuter bus ticket and ride free to the downtown area! Click on the name
of your community for more information.
